We and the Winters | A poem by Shreya Bansal | A poem on Winter

About the poem: This poem on winter, written by Shreya Bansal, describes the little joys of winter season.

It’s winter morning and the sky is hazy,
And we’ve become so lazy.
Who wants to leave the warm quilt,
When the weather is so chilled.

The warm tea is so soothing,
And bathing is not at all amusing.
Just tea, blanket and a book we want.
And a heater turned on.

Besides warming  ourselves  and staying stable,
We can say winters are fashionable.
Styling mufflers, boots, the winter goodies,
With smart jacket and hoodies.
And also when gajar halwa is in front of you,
You say winters “I love you”
