Seashells | A Poem on Memories

Seashells | A poem by The Mockingjay | poem on memories

About the poem Quiet and gentle moments of love. Memories in the form of a poetry for everything I couldn’t take Polaroid pictures of..

Shoreline littered with glimmering rays of sun 🌄
She found parts of dead seashells half sunken into the sand.. 🐚
and
there .. in a distance,
a magical one floated up on the bed of wet sand!
She picked it up, a special gift for someone she loved so much!

Did you hear the ocean’s waves crushing inside it? She asked, in a vivid dream..
Wish we could fit in and travel under the deep blue sea! 🌊
how mysterious the world could be!
With the long lost memories of ancient cities, unseen treasures…!
A majestic story of different times, beyond measures !

It was all that she had as a glistening gift, the seashell in her hand !
Still so beautiful!
With all the lost memories,
Fractured, empty; and brighter
In the penetrating oceanic light beams!
