About the poem– This poem is a metaphorical expression of Life’s mysterious journey. A partial expression; portraying an image or an idea of life’s occurrences. 

Far from the city, beyond this town..
I run through an abandoned rail track, 
Crossing the River,
Into the dark mysterious woods.
An incomprehensible whisper overlying all around!

Tall trees, sharp bushes tearing up my clothes.
scratching my arms, 
Sensing those innumerable questions ..
I’m here; with a sweetest tide of romance!

These dark woods are hiding all bloodhounds!
I come back here in circles, with my glimmering eyes,
And a desperate rush of dopamine;
To encounter them all in broken faith,
Behind the burial-ground.

Everything that surrounds it…
Becomes more fascinating, and profound!
My instinct leads me till the end 
through a cold winter night, 
To a soft autumn evening!
An endless war,
Between my heart and the conscious mind.

Sunshine here is an interesting phenomena,
Dissolves through the pine leaves into my palms,
Alike the pathway of Stars, Andromeda!
I’m drawn to these unknown woods, 
Maybe just to hear those mysterious screams!
Or to search for those watchful eyes..
Following me from afar behind the trees.
I know, that’s where they hide.

Would you wait here for me in the dark woods,
Under a full Moon night?
When the Maple Leafs are glistening through lights!
We’ll follow through a snow map again..
Across the river, and the rail track.
through the crimson flowers,
Chasing the flying deers.
To find out a snowy old little cabin!
Standing quite, frozen in time.
All alone.

Deepest into the mysterious woods..!
