These emotions, these feelings. I’m so overwhelmed.
The curls on your forehead, your wonder-filled eyes.
So curious yet so gentle.
you are far, you are so close.
I ache to see you, your face engraved in memory,
My rosy cheeks hurts from smiling so much,
Just the thought of you…
never seems to leave.
I want to touch you, feel the warmth of your lips.
My name has never felt so pure.
Whenever you say it, I fall deeper into the bliss…
Am I falling in love?
On lookers laughed at me….I think I wore my blouse backwards yesterday but…I didn’t care.
My invisible self is visible now, you made me feel!
It tickled, when you buried your fingers in my hair.
I closed my eyes and you were there.
You smiled at me, I giggled.
We have an inside joke, no one will ever know.
These emotions, these feelings. I’m so overwhelmed.
As I looked in the mirror, I was no longer there.
Sparkling eyes, flushed cheeks and scarlet lips,
I was no longer there
albeit my essence, my presence revived.
And I giggled…
Am I falling in love?
‘Yes’, whispered the sparkles of my eyes.
