Brief Introduction: As the name suggests, this poem is an ode to a great Indian Actor Sushant Singh Rajput who unfortunately had an untimely demise.
He always aimed the sky
His goals were very high.
Physics and astronomy were his favourite subjects,
Drew a bucket list of complicated projects.
From a physics topper to a TV star,
Then reaching Bollywood milestones so far,
He proved where there’s a will there’s a way.
But one should not just give away.
On 14.6.2020 destiny took him away.
Leaving everyone in dismay.
When we lost this real star,
We noticed his achievements so far.
We realised what a gem he was,
And what hurdles he had to cross.
How he made his special space,
In that so called Bollywood race.
Though his journey was short,
But he achieved a lot.
As you go deeper in his story,
You realise this man’s glory.
Sushant’s character was clean,
But that was totally unseen.
When he lived we didn’t care,
And now our hearts glare.

This poem really made my heart ache at the injustice of such a great person taken at his prime. My heart goes out to his loved once and pray God gives them the strength to bear the loss.
