That Tomboy Friend | A poem by Shreya Bansal

Brief introduction: This poem is to tell those girls who do not like to dress up that they are beautiful in their own way and they do not need to change themselves for the standards of the world.

Not a Girly Girl
My friend is a tomboy,
But does that annoy?
No, she is the best like that,
Why call her a brat ?
Makeup, earrings not her thing,
But still she is interesting.
Yeah she isn’t good at makeup art,
But still she is really smart.
Let’s just leave her looks behind,
And keep this thing in mind,
To let a Tomboy girl live her way,
Not trying to beautify her away.
Don’t make her the barbie on that shelf.
She is much happier when herself.
Tomboy girls have choices too,
And not everyone wants to be K3G’s poo.
