Chapter 1- Welcome to Blackstone
About the story: This story is a murder mystery. In this story Josh’s brother is murdered and there are some complications which are far beyond is understanding.
“What happened Josh?” Matthew asked.
Josh was shocked to hear that Matthew was speaking on the telephone.
“How did you reach the city?” Josh, who was in the old mansion in Blackwood Pines, asked.
“Well I was in the city,” Matthew replied in confusion.
Josh gasped for breath.
“Are you alright? And how is my friend Minho?” Matthew asked.
Josh was Minho’s big brother.
He replied, “Minho is dead. We, my two twin sisters- Hannah, Beth, Minho and me went to the mansion that we newly bought in Blackwood pines and guess who was going there with us?”
“Who?” Matthew asked.
“Firstly, everything was normal but today morning I woke up to meet Minho in his room. He was lying there dead and the one who came with us is nowhere to be found,” Josh said.
“Just tell me who killed my friend!” Matthew demanded.
Josh said with trembling voice, “The person who came with us was you!..”
A year later, Dana, classmate of Minho, was on a school trip. Her best friend Lina was with her on her side. Matthew who has changed after the mysterious death of Minho, was also on the trip. He was sitting with his new friend Sam.
What Dana hated was her four enemies were also on the trip- They were Barry, Ivy, George and Aviana.
The other four students on the trip were Ana, Samantha, Pit and Kenny.
Their coach and their guide Hansell were taking them a trek down a hill which separated the highway from the village in the Blackstone forest.
The beauty was unexplainable but Hansel warned all of them that wild animals haunt people at night.
It was evening so after reaching the village and the cabin prepared for them, everyone soon retired to their rooms.
At night 2 am, Dana woke up to hear two people walking across her room outside. She peeked outside her room as she saw two boys going out of the cabin. Lina was in the room in front of hers.
As she peeked outside, Lina was doing the same. They whispered to each other and saw Sam was one of them.
The second one’s face was hidden because of the dark.
Sam and the second boy soon fell into an argument and soon they started quarrelling.
Lina suddenly gasped and both of them hid back into their rooms. After a minute of extreme silence, Dana heard a knock on her door and she saw it was Matthew. Matthew said that he saw Dana peeking out of the cabin and asked if she saw anyone outside.
Dana denied saying that she was just trying to talk with Lina. Matthew went back to his room and Lina peeked out of their rooms again to find that the two boys had stopped fighting and were nowhere to be found.
Dana and Lina had no fault but they now didn’t knew in what problem they have fallen into…
To be continued… Next time in this series- Dana had a close call but when she saved herself, she realised that someone died because of it. Will Lina and Dana find out how the person died, who was with Sam last night and who is the murderer?
