Dear Senorita | a poem on breakup | Written by Jyotishko Chatterjee

About the poem: What happens when you have parted ways with your love? What thoughts assail your mind after a breakup. Read this poem by Jyotishko Chatterjee that tries to describe just that.

Another eve passes away,
As we stand upon the grave of our togetherness
Having sips of different cups ,
It seems your priorities have changed.

I know it hustles you, to apologise
But i can read it over your eyes and lips too
May i console, if you allow,
Yet giving a passionate smooch .

Aeh! Senorita , stand not so startled ,
I know my limits,being remindful
Of the slap, i won’t even touch you.
But as you called me,
The flirt, was just giving it a try.
Someday if you turn merciful again
And i too feel a bit loyal,
We will seldom meet and talk often,
But love forever,my lady.
Such dreams to come true,
Only if your conscience says so.

Though its true , i would be anigh always
For now goodbye, for now goodbye
